Another hospital stay :(

Hi I posted a while ago when my daughter kept being rushed in with breathing problems, etc, she's just turned 6 but was born a preemie and has always suffered especially with chest problems. The health team and I tried to get her referred but the doctor was having none of it saying there's certain stages he needs to follow first. we've recently come out of hospital with her again after another bad spell in which she was rushed in on the way home from school, she's been discharged now and they have finally referred her to see a specialist next month. what kind of things can I expect them to do in relation to any tests etc, I just want to prepare myself iykwim?

Sorry no advise but am glad to hear your daughter has eventually been referred. It is terrible that us parents have to fight so much to get the care we want for our children.
