Hi everyone, I have one child born on april 22 2011,
my husbands total income for the year 6 april 2010 to 5th 2011 was £5696
his total income for 6th april 2011 to 5th april 2012 is £17,900
he thinks that they might cut his hours at work from 46 to 36 hours which would mean his salary would become £14,040 can anyone give me an idea about how that would affect our working tax credit. He earns 7.50 an hour
If anyone needs extra info just ask. We were not receiving any tax credit before our baby because we weren't entitled due to my husband being subject to immigration control.
thank you everyone

Have you tried looking on entitledto.com? or the HMRC website?
I doubt your tax credits will change much now as they are based on last years income.
They will drop in April 2012 but it will actually work in your favour if your husbands income drops below £16k as anything over that usually means working tax credit stops so you would only get child tax credit.
Do you get an income? any SMP or MA?
