Hiya ladies

I posted this in TTC but thought some of you may have more experience in this type of thing?

I've been TTC since Dec 2005 but have had 2 failed pregnancies in this time

1 mc at 10.5wks & a death due to PROM at 19wks, this is my 10th cycle since losing my daughter Sophie so I hope it is ok for me to post in here?

Hey chick

It is 'normal' to miss 1 or 2 periods a year and as far as i know, it had never happened to me until last year - it threw me as well so don't worry, you aren't alone. I was always 27 days regular and then i had flat temps and no discernable ovulation. :witch: turned up i recall about day 28 so my cycle was very similar. I think it's the same as if you do ovulate - i.e. the womb lining builds up and then sheds as in a normal cycle.

I have been temping for just under a year and it's only happened once.

My cycles over the past few months have been a little erratic and i have found that if i don't ovulate until CD20 then my period comes about 12 days after - that's one thing you can always measure. If it's late, then your period will be late.

Hope that helps - just keep an eye next month and if it happens again (which i'm sure it won't) - maybe go see the doc?

Sorry to hear about your m/c and Sophie :hugs:

Thankyou Rachelle & good luck with your IVF appt :hugs: xx

thanks Nicky.

I know when i didn't ovulate i was really upset and confused and had such a huge panic - next month it came later (CD19 instead of CD14) but it did come. I think all my stressing makes it late sometimes. I'm no help to my cycle!

Hope things start to go in your favour really soon xx

Thanks :hugs:

It just seems so unfair that our cycles can suddenly mess up :(

my DH has been experiencing problems with his erection for months, which makes :sex: difficult & now my cycles have gone funny, it feels like things are conspiring against us IYKWIM?

Sorry to moan in here girls  I know you already have big enough problems of your own to deal with :( xx
