I was just given this list at my 28 week appointment yesterday! I thought that with the number of people who wonder what to expect from certain appointments that this might be useful! I understand that this is something sent out by my NHS trust and that there might be differences between trusts, especially as here everything operates through the hospital antenatal clinic, but the basic schedule seems pretty standard!
8-12 weeks: Booking by midwife, Routine bloods, screening information, Pregnancy book, weight measurement, advice re: flu vaccine, dating scan (though this may be at a different appointment)
16 weeks: Antenatal check with midwife*, review of results and Down Syndrome screening, information on Antenatal education
18-20 weeks: Fetal Anomaly Scan
25 weeks: Antenatal check with midwife*, Symphysis-fundal height measurement from now on, Mat B1
28 weeks: Antenatal check with midwife*, prophylactic Anti D if required, Antenatal education information, follow-up routine bloods
31 weeks: Antenatal check with midwife*
34 weeks: Antenatal check with midwife*
36 weeks: At Home: Antenatal check with midwife*, Check presentation of baby offer ECV if breech, discussion on Newborn Screening and Vitamin K
38 weeks: Antenatal check with midwife*
40 weeks: Antenatal check with midwife*, Membrane sweep
41 weeks: Antenatal check with midwife*, membrane sweep, Arrange induction of labour in line Term+12
* Antenatal check by midwife includes: Blood pressure check, urinalysis, presence and distribution of oedema, abdominal palpation to access fundal height measurements in centimetres and history of fetal movements.
Hope people find this useful!
