I've been told I have an anterior placenta and I don't feel much movement , I sometimes feel quite abit but mostly the odd bump which feels like wind lol . I'm nearly 23 weeks. Does anyone else have similar will it change? Xx

I have an anterior placenta also, I will be 20 weeks on Saturday and my MW said it can very much vary when I will feel baby, I feel him at the moment mostly on an evening but it's not strong it's like a little pop here and there.

I wouldn't worry too much that placenta is acting as a big cushion right now, I guess it depends on how hard your little one wiggles around and kicks and punches in there as to whether you feel it or not.

I'm coming over from 1st tri. I had this with my son. I didn't feel much movement at the beginning. But as time progressed, I definitely felt him plenty. As the baby gets bigger, even an anterior placenta can stop you from feeling his/her movements.

I'm getting kicks around now most evenings but nothing all day . Thanks ladies and congrats :) xx

I have anterior too. I felt my first proper kick on the outside just a few days ago at 23+4. Since then I've felt baby loads and so has OH, apart from today, she's been very quiet. Hope your movements pick up soon :)

I have 2 anterior placentas with my twins, I couldn't feel anything til 20 +, now I feel them all the time and quite strongly, hard to imagine actually if I didn't have the placenta to cushion it a bit as they are active and very strong with their movements!

I have an anterior placenta, I hardly feel any movement at all... The odd little pop here and there, like wind but not felt anything substantial. With my dd I felt her from 16 weeks and by 19 weeks my husband could feel her from the outside but this time I'm lucky if I feel anything at all, mainly feel pops and night when I'm lying down.

Hey, I have anterior placenta and I am 21+3.... I haven't felt strong movements at all, so this post is really reassuring! I mostly feel light movements in the evening :)

I have an anterior placenta and can't feel anything yet really. Thought I felt something the other day but nothing since! So annoying as I felt my daughter moving at 15 weeks!

I felt big whooshing movements around 17 weeks then got quieter! Got a big old load of bumps the other night, tonight some but feels like wind again! Lol . Ah thanks guys yep we are all in same anterior boat lol xx
