I think we need to try some to help DD2 with her wind. We use the TT CTN bottles atm and she sucks them so fast now that she is gagging and sucking in lots of air. By the evening she is unsettled and keeps waking if we do manage to get her to sleep.

Can you recommend some bottles we could try next?

I'm a big Dr Brown bottles fan they make a massive difference

I agree Dr Browns are great also Avent anti-colic. Ive tried every bottle under the sun and these are the best personally x

I've heard Dr. Browns is a good choice, but personally I am using tommee tippee the anti-colic bottles. I've used it from the start and baby has never had any problems with colic since day one.

I'm also using the Tommee Tippee anti colic bottles, I started out with the normal CTN bottles and we used to have two or three hours of screaming every evening. Within a week of switching to the anti-colic ones this had stopped completely.

Seconding everyone who has said Dr Brown's bottles. My dd used to guzzle her milk despite trying several different TT teat sizes, and struggle terribly with wind. With her Dr Brown's bottle she is a different baby.

Re wind. After trying a different bottle Dr Brown's or whatever you may go for, if she is still still pulling her legs up and or doing giant farts that seem to stress her etc try Colief, it helps baby deal with a temporary lactose intolerance. It's really expensive at £11 odd a bottle but the doc can give it to you on prescription

Also, if on trying different bottles your lo is writhing around when you lay her down after feeding, try holding her upright for 20mins after her feed if she is awake or if it is bed/ naptime try propping the head end of her cot up. These both help with reflux. Good luck x

Tommee tippee anti colic ones ( ones with spout in like dr browns) are my choice

We use dr browns but tbh nothing made a difference to his wind except time. As I said on your other post it could be silent reflux as "colic" is usually a symptom of it x

We started with CTN but soon switched to MAM which i find are brilliant.

I've just seen your other post. We use aptamil comfort for her colic and constipation, it's thicker so may slow down the rate it comes out the teet?
