Anti D injection

I am O rhesus negative and had the anti d injection after my m/c in November.

Does anyone know how long the affects last?

I'm also negative, but didn't realize there could be "affects". I had the injection after my miscarriage in February. Apparently, I won't need another one until I'm at least halfway through another pregnancy.

I had anti d injections when preg with my 3 year old, she is also anti d so didnt need the ones after birth again.

When I had the CVS test with my Angel Baby, Gillian, I also got given it, and then when she was born.

Also didnt know there could be any affects. Certainly wasnt told of any...

Actually just looked it up, there are little side affects and nothing to say how long they may last.

Im guessing you dont feel right??. have you asked your GP?

i was given the anti-d injection after my D&C following my miscarriage, im O-. I didnt think there were any side-affects was just told id need it after any non-period vaginal bleed. As in giving birth, another miscarriage and throughout future pregnancies. All i know is my poor bum ached for a few days after getting the needle...hope your ok hun xx

im o neg myself and have had so many anti d injections my arm stung but i didnt have any side effects myself. u might be allergic to something in the injection or the needle itself....talk to ur doc hope u feel better soon x
