Anti-D Tomoz

Hey im 19yrs From Northern Ireland, and due my first baby on 26th dec, boxing day, going to have a great x-mas this year.
Im 30+3 and iv to go get my Anti-D injection tomarrow, im not looking forward to it but i dont mind as i no its only to help.

Oh soz i thought you would of known

When i got my blood tests back it showed that i was rhesus D Negitive which is a rare blood group, the baby could be rhesus D positive which means i have to get an anit-d injection incase are bloods mix as it could harm the baby, but with this injection it stops are blood from mixing, Iv to carry a blood card with me incase i fall, or get a nasty bump. They used to give it to you in your bum but now they give you in your upper arm thank god

OHHHH I had that done I just didn't knowhat it was called!!!!! but I got it in my back hip. I have to have it done with every pregnancy. Also if the baby is born positive anyways (usually doesn't happen) then I have to have the shot again after she is born.

Thanks well i got it done, it was over in seconds and didnt hurt that much could just feel the needle going in x
