Ive been having restless sleep practically since baby born shes 4.5 Months now I think it was because we were having feeding bottle issues thats all resolved now. But I still have the anxious restless sleep. It doesnt seem to matter if I go to sleep at 9.30 or 11 I wake between 3 & 5 then struggle to go back off. I try deep breathing, counting etc sometimes can drop off for a bit then wake up again in a startle
Ive cut my caffeine down & introduced some camomile tea I have three cups a day of this including one before bed. Try not to nap in day the odd day I might have 10mins when baby naps but rarely
I have an under active thyroid & recently my dose been reduced which gp says should help anxious / sweaty feelings
