I’ve been having restless sleep practically since baby born she’s 4.5 Months now I think it was because we were having feeding bottle issues that’s all resolved now. But I still have the anxious restless sleep. It doesn’t seem to matter if I go to sleep at 9.30 or 11 I wake between 3 & 5 then struggle to go back off. I try deep breathing, counting etc sometimes can drop off for a bit then wake up again in a startle
I’ve cut my caffeine down & introduced some camomile tea I have three cups a day of this including one before bed. Try not to nap in day the odd day I might have 10mins when baby naps but rarely
I have an under active thyroid & recently my dose been reduced which gp says should help anxious / sweaty feelings
Just after some tips / Advice please?

The first few months after my girls were born I had very restless night just felt like I couldn't relax or I had to be awake ! Like you I would wake up and couldn't get back asleep so would then go in the internet or watch the which made it worse .

I think it just got better as they got a bit older although I did suffer from anxiety badly when they were born

Could it be your body adjusting to the new dosage of your medication ? Maybe listen to some relaxing music ?

Sorry cannot be of more help. Hope you have s good night soon
