Any Advice? Cycle 1 TTC #1

Hello all! This is my first month TTC #1. I just got my first positive OPK today (CD 10) and now I am feeling apprehensive about it. I have been sick with a nasty virus which turned into bronchitis and laryngitis for almost 4 weeks now, and im scared that not being healthy during conception will have a negative affect on the pregnancy/baby. I know that I prob wont get a BFP the first cycle....but is this anything to be worried about, should I wait until next cycle to try?

You should be just fine!! I don't know for sure if being sick affects fertility, but I don't think it would have much impact. Either way, it doesn't hurt to try! If you do get pregnant, dont worry. You have to think about all the totally unhealthy things some women do when they know they are pregnant and especially when they don't know: drugs, drinking, smoking, ect. some babies are born perfectly healthy!
