Any advice on FSH levels??

I had to have blood tests re-done as FS said FSH was 'a little high' but didn't tell me what it was.

So my new results are ...
FSH - 6
LH - 3.6
Oestradiol - 196

I'm told by my GP that they are all within normal limits for a pre menopausal woman so I guess that's good.

Anyway, having looked over the info the GP has printed off for me there's a couple of things I'm curious about

Firstly, I was on CD4 (was told to have them done CD2,3 or 4 - CD2 was Saturday and CD3 Sunday) but by CD4 the bleeding had pretty much stopped ... does that matter?

Secondly, I have a note of the limits for follicular stage, ovulatory stage and leutal stage but not sure which one CD4 comes under??

I can't answer it all... Cd4 would be follicular stage. It doesn't matter if you were bleeding or not. I would hope if there the ratio were off that the dr would discuss it with you. I used to have a good dr like that. I wish we lived even remotely close as i would love to be refered to him again. That way when i would be monitored and i wouldn't have to be trying to figure any of this out on my own. He was an awesome dr and i never had doubts when under his care. Hope you get answers soon. Hopefully someone has better information then i do for you.

Thanks. These blood tests were done at my doctor's surgery, not at the FS, as it was easier to get them done there and then send the results through.

It seems my FSh level is pretty good but now reading about it, my oestradiol level might be too high which could also be a problem.
