Any clomid success stories for unexplained infertility?

Hi guys

The title says it all really... Has anybody tried Clomid when they are already ovulating and got a BFP? Hubby and I have been trying for 14 cycles, on to our 15th now. SA done- all good. Bloods done- all OK except my day 21 prog is borderline at 26nmol/l and I have an elevated free androgen index. Doc refuses to give me an HSG for now but gave me clomid and I need some success stories to feel more positive about this. Thank you.

I don't have a success story, but I'm in EXACTLY the same boat!

I'm on 50 mg, waiting to ovulate, and took it 3-7. I'm on CD 9 currently.

Hi Wookie! How long have you been TTC for and have you been through all the fertility tests? Best of luck with cycle 3 of clomid- assume this is also your cycle 3? I take mine days 2-6 and got two almost positive OPKs on CD13 and 14. How about you?

I had success from clomid with unexplained infertility.
I used clomid 10 years ago to conceive my son. I ovulated on my own, but we did clomid/IUI anyway. It took 4 tries, but finally worked. It was cycle #19 for me. I was 24. We are trying femara this time because clomid thinned my lining and I had to take estrace to counteract it.

I know of another lady in the 35+ forum that is also unexplained. She conceived her 2 children with clomid and sex.
