any ideas what this could be?!

The past couple of days, my lo has started acting really strange when im giving his bottle!

He kinda squirms, grunts, and clutches onto my hand, and gets himself really agitated. Ive never seen him do this before, but hes doing it on every feed now. Its like hes really frustrated He is on the dr brown bottles, currently size 1 teats, and SMA hungry baby formula.

Any advice?

Hey hun, my cousin had her little one on dr browns and she found he got frustrated cuz his milk wasnt coming out fast enough!?
Maybe as hes getting bigger he wants that milk faster!?

It does sound like it could be the teats, or maybe he has a little trapped wind.

Do Dr Brown do the next size up teats?

amelia started to do this when i was on number 1 teat, so i went up a teat at 3 weeks, she obviously wasnt ready and threw it all up (as she got the milk toooooooooo fast.)

now she's hit 2 months i gave her the number 2 teat and shes so happy with it.

the worst that could happen is that he will throw it up if he gets it too fast xxx

yeah they do. size 1s are newborn, and size 2 are 3 months+ xx

Bella does this when she's really hungry & had size 1 teat. Changed the teat size, solved the problem.

heard the midwife say to my friend yesterday - whos baby is 9 days old that you shouldnt use number one teats at all, because they just get too much air as the holes are just way too small...

i waited til Finley was 5 weeks to change mine, but he was a million times better on size 2s
