Any student mums?

Hi!
I start uni in September and will be getting a childcare grant to help cover nursery fees etc. Dd has a place at nursery starting in September.
I'm so confused how the childcare grant works. The nursery is pay a month in advance, but the childcare grant says it pays over 3 intervals throughout the term, so how does that work out?
I'm awful with money and this is all goin completely over my head (how I actually got into uni I do not know).
If someone who gets or knows about the childcare grant could give me any advice I'd be extremely grateful!

Hey sweetie. Im a stdent Mummy.

Before the start of the year i give student finance my 'expected' outgoings for nursery.

They then give me 1/3 of the amount they think ill need for the year, i give it to nursery to pay 4 months fees. Then in December/Jan you have to send in a 'CCG2' form signed by nursery, to release januarys payment. This should pay Jan-May nursery fees.. And so on, so forth.

So now I've just paid Rileys nursery up until September, at which time ill get more funding. x
