hi girls am only 10 days away form my due date but am so ready for baby to come now........

has any1 tried this and has it had any effect ? or should i leave well alone?????????

thanks :flower:

I have been using Clary Sage in my bath for a couple of weeks now and each time i give my belly a good rub too. Yesterday I really thought labour was on the way as I had a big clear out and was getting so many tightenings so I had a bath with loads of clary sage and I also put a little bit in my hands and rubbed it on my bump and nothing!!!
I think clary sage will only work if your body is ready, if it will work at all???

Ive been using it for ages, used it before for relaxing, can be steamed, burnt or rubbed, its also seen as euphoric, made my pupils go crazy once, and all my veins came up so blue! But other than that no affect x

Had it in a tub of hot (steaming) water while I had a soak in the bath last night, best it did was let me have a very comfy nap lol

I've been getting contractions but they come and go, really annoying as I'm so ready! I've tried breathing in clary sage from a flannel, very stinky though! Might try a little bump massage.

I've been using it in the bath every night and with massage oil and nothing!
I dont think it helped last preg either but im desperate!

I have been using it in my baths for a few weeks now but not rubbed it in my tummy as it says on bottle not to rub it into skin - perhaps if i mix it with a bit of baby oil that will be ok.

It hasnt done anything so far but does make you feel very relaxed. :)

xx

I ordered mine thru a company called Birth-Ease which also comes with Lavender Oil and an atomiser to make a facial spritz during labour. Think its only recommended for use in late pregnancy (ie: 37 weeks onwards) :)

Oo just to add - my friend went to a diff hospital to where I went and they gave her clary sage, lavender and olive oil I think, it was for her partner to massage her back with - she said it really helped so if it doesnt help you go into actual labour it still might be useful during =]
