Anybody else starting IVF in Oct/Nov?

I think I will be starting my first IVF session in Oct/Nov. I just need to have 2 clomid free cycles first. I am 38 (39 in Dec). It's a big expense (likely 10-12 grand - Canadian) but am hopeful it will work. I know this will be another difficult road with my ups and downs - I would love to share this experience with people possibly going through something similar! Good luck to us all!

Hi! I don't know if you're still on this thread... but I'm on my 2nd IVF cycle, age 38. My first cycle resulted in a BFP first time around! So lucky!
I'm doing a FET (frozen embryo transfer) now--just had the transfer yesterday. I'm trying a natural cycle but they still made me take some hormones to make sure estrogen and progesterone are adequate.
Oh, and I'm also in Canada.

Just had all the prescreening requirements done. Antral follicle count was 8 on one side; 5 on the other. My google search says that's "normal range". The next step is to call the clinic the first day of my period and see if they will offer IVF this cycle or if I have to wait another one. Naturally I'm hoping the sooner or better.

BTW: Did you stop drinking coffee (if you drink coffee) while going through the IVF process?
