Anybody have longer cycles on progesterone (prometrium) pills than normal?

Hi girls,

Anybody have longer cycles on progesterone (prometrium) pills than normal well using them in their 2WW. I take it from CD 14 until AF arrives and my period might be late right now. I haven't gotten a definate line on an HPT yet, only faint second lines, so I am wondering if my long cycle is just due to the progesterone supplement that I am taking this cycle, and if AF is just playing a trick on me by waiting to show up later than usual? I also had to take prometrium during my 2ww after round 1 of clomid. I had to take the prometrium until the pg blood test (ended up being a 17d luteal phase). Once it was negative, then I was told to stop taking it. I was told that it can take up to 5 days to get AF, and it took me 3.5-4 days to get AF. Short answer = Yes

Thanks for the feedback hun...

The got me today and my cycle went to 30 days so not really any longer than some of my other longer cycles without the progesterone, so I guess it didnt affect the length of my cycle much after all....

Hi there
My cycle gets a bit longer when I take progesterone. Like 1-3 days. I take my prog from 3 days after ovulation and then for 10 days. Then I test and then AF usually comes within 2 days.
