never ordered from asda online before, wondered if anybody knew how reliable they are, and if I order from them now, will the money be taken out my account now or when my shopping is 'sent' x

Asda food shopping is this?
If so they take out the £ when the shopping is sent - However they do put a 'hold' on £1 to ensure your bank details are valid; so ensure you have a pound in your bank when you do the order.

If it's ordering from their other shops, clothing, toys etc not grocery they take out the ££ when you do the order.

They're very reliable though!

Ok thanks hun, ive just ordered all my xmas shopping apart from the fresh stuff. Ive unticked the box for alternatives on everything though so if they dont have it will i just not be charged x

They will take the £1 when you place the order but will put it back in your bank...on the morning of your delivery they will 'hold' the amount of all the goods at that days prices...then when they get your order together if there are any items they don't have it will say on your delivery note at the top...you sign for the goods, then when the drivers gets back to the store, they will then release any extra funds back to your bank...your bank might take a few days to let you have the extra back though...

did that make sense?lol.x

Yea thanks alot, so any offers ive used today may not still be available when my shopping comes on the 19th x

when you checkout,it usually says if any of those offers will be over by the time your order comes :) its worth keeping subs on somethings though,it sometimes works in your favour :) like the other day I ordered some £2.97 chicken steaks..they didn't have them so I got some worth £6!and you can always decline the subs(these will be at the top of your delivery note) xx

good idea im gunna do mine now x

yea but if you get the subs do you pay the sub price or do you pay the price of what you ordered x

you pay the price of what you ordered :) no matter what the price difference.xx
