Anyone considering or had a successful unassisted birth?

I am currently looking into unassisted births and was wondering if anyone else is considering this or has had success with it and would like to share.

My neighbor had a planned, unassisted birth. I don't know details other than she had the baby in the bathtub.

My cousin had an unassisted home birth, but it was a situation where the baby just came--it wasn't planned.

A friend of mine had one. She did it by herself in a converted schoolbus (hippie mama). Shortly after she walked down the street and weighed her baby on the scale at the co-op.
