I have had two back to back early miscarriages. I have one daughter, who is almost 4. With her pregnancy, I developed high blood pressure towards the end, and very swollen feet/ankles. I remember pressing on my foot and it left a dimple that was slow to go away. It felt like I was walking in boots filled with sloshing water, totally weird. Anyway, now I am reading about causes of early mc, and antiphospholipid syndrome has come up. It says if you had pre-eclampsia in previous pregnancies, you are more likely to have APS. I was never diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, but looking back wonder if I had it, as I had some signs. I am wondering if anyone had similar experiences with their first pregnancy, then was diagnosed with APS? I also have other autoimmune conditions, and have read APS is sometimes autoimmune related. Any thoughts appreciated!
