Anyone diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome?

I have had two back to back early miscarriages. I have one daughter, who is almost 4. With her pregnancy, I developed high blood pressure towards the end, and very swollen feet/ankles. I remember pressing on my foot and it left a dimple that was slow to go away. It felt like I was walking in boots filled with sloshing water, totally weird. Anyway, now I am reading about causes of early mc, and antiphospholipid syndrome has come up. It says if you had pre-eclampsia in previous pregnancies, you are more likely to have APS. I was never diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, but looking back wonder if I had it, as I had some signs. I am wondering if anyone had similar experiences with their first pregnancy, then was diagnosed with APS? I also have other autoimmune conditions, and have read APS is sometimes autoimmune related. Any thoughts appreciated!

I haven't been diagnosed with APS but I am wondering the same thing. I have had two miscarriages back to back, one at 5 weeks and one was a blighted ovum found at 9.5 weeks. I have two children, 4 and 2. With my oldest I had VERY swollen feet and ankles, with pitting edema like you, and on multiple occasions I had very high BP, but by the time I got to the doctor it wasn't AS elevated and was within 'normal' limits so I never was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia. But my swelling was so bad that I would mention it and the doctor or nurse would go into talking about how to ease swelling and how it is normal at this stage, blah blah blah, but then when they would look at my feet they would literally say "oh my god!". And my swelling started at 6 months, not on month nine.
I am going to the doctor on Sept. 1st to talk about why I've had two miscarriages and if I get any testing done or find anything out I'll let you know. Have you had any testing done or has the doctor given you any ideas as to how to prevent another miscarriage?

I was tested for APS and thyroid stuff last week but havent heard the results back yet. I think she wants to do some hormone testing as well but want to wait one cycle before that happens. I'll let you know once I know the results and hope you let me know too! Good luck with your doctor!
