Hello!

I have boy/girl twins due in March. I'm almost 28 weeks now. On November 27th (I was almost 24 weeks then), I was admitted to the hospital for a short cervix (I can't remember but I think it was 20mm then). They put me on Indocin, but it made my little boy stop peeing and he had no fluid around him. Now I am on Procardia and vaginal Progesterone inserts. My little boy's fluid is still low but at least he has some, but my cervix continues to shorten (it was 11mm a few days ago). I have mild contractions every now and then, but no more than 6 in an hour. My doctor is talking about putting me on a terb pump soon if my insurance will cover it. I also recently found out I have gestational diabetes. They aren't talking about letting me go home until I'm 36 weeks if I make it that far.

Has anyone else had any of these issues? I'm so worried because my cervix keeps shortening and these babies are still too little to be born :[ I guess I just need some support and prayers for my little ones!

sorry i can't help you, but i wish you the best of luck.
i hope your insurance covers you. you will be in my prayers.
i find out tomorrow if my baby is still with us, i'm still very early, but it took us years to get this far.

Thanks so much for the prayers. You and your little one will be in mine as well!

well, hun. I only had one baby but i was on strict bedrest for 2 months. My daughter was born at 33 wks and 1 day. I had a shortened cervix that keep opening as well, and i have a heart shaped uterus so my LO ran out of room to grow. I started contracting at 19weeks! Best thing you can do- and i know it's hard- is stay calm! and know that no matter what happens, you're in a hospital, so your babies are safe.

OH SWEETIE YOU ARE HAVING DOUBLE DUTY COMPLICATIONS AND I HAVEN'T EXPERIENCE ALL THAT YOU HAVE BUT I HAVE A INCOMP. CERVIX AND I KNOW HOW SCARY IT IS NOT KNOWING IF YOUR BODY WILL HOLD UP!!! JUST HOLD ON TO THE FAITH THAT YOU WILL GET THERE AND ALL WILL BE ALRIGHT AND I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS!:hugs2: GOOD LUCK SWEETIE AND IF YOU NEED TO TALK I AM HERE!

You and your little ones will be in my prayers, I hope they hold on for you xx

So sorry to hear of your trouble. Will pray for your little ones every day, if my prayers are worth anything. :hugs:
