Anyone else can't stand their own b.o.???

For the record, I bathe everyday! Never had issues with my own body/vaginal smell before...

But eeek... i don't know what it is or if it's my pregnancy nose playing tricks on me, but i can't stand my own odor. I smell like i'm stinky all the time and leaving my odor everywhere i go. My vagina has a strong odor too. This happened during the first trimester and went away during the second, but now it's back

The smell lingers in the bathroom after I use it and in my bedroom. I'm almost scared of having people over... I'm stinking up the place!!!

It's not a vb or bacterial/sti type of odor. Not fishy, not yeasty, don't quite know how to describe it. It's different, but it's nasty!!!

Is this normal?

I feel the same. LIke today went to BuyBuyBaby with my husband and after using the bathroom I felt like I was stinky really bad. I asked my husband if he smelled anything and he said no. I asked him if a stank and he said "no you smell like the perfume you put on earlier, why?" so I don't know if he is being nice and doesnt want to hurt my feelings or if my nose is playing tricks on me. Either way its driving me crazy!!!

Didn't wanna read and run but can't say I've got a smell that I can notice?! In first tri however I couldn't stand hubby being anywhere near me, to start with we thought it was his after shave/deodorant so he changed all those for unscented types and quit the after shave, but after eliminating them altogether I found it was just his smell, not that he smells can I add because he's the cleanest man I've ever known lol, but just his own skin scent was making me heave - tricky one!!
I'm not sure what to suggest for you, does anyone else notice the smell?xx

I know what you mean about the vaginal odor. I have it too, doesn't stink. It's kind of a beefy smell. It's all the discharge and leaking urine. I'm so embarrassed I wouldnt have sex with my husband even if he tried (he doesn't try- haha).

I did notice that drinking liquid chlorophyll in water reduces it, but i'm concerned with taking it everyday in the quantity i would need to keep the odor at bay (i tried 3 glass of it one day and didn't smell anything the next day).

i know what you mean and the only way i can describe it is like the smell of sex lol every now n then i smell it its not surprising really when you think of all the hormones were producing right now other people probably wouldnt notice it but our sense of smell is alot stronger so were noticing it x

Got it on the button miss cakes of say the smell of sex too! And heaven forbid if we do have a quickie before I rerun out the door, cause I feel like I ooze the smell of cum in a foul way, whereas I've asked friends and they can't smell anything! I just use panty liners and change them regularly! Also if I keep myself hydrated I don't think it smells as bad!

I feel like my deodorant stopped working when I hit 3rd tri lol. I swear I can smell myself... it's not horrid and I really don't think it's a smell that would put anyone off but I always make sure to keep my arms down or wear a jacket if I'm wearing a tank top! I'm just paranoid cause I have like, supernose right now.

Sensitive question but I'm sure glad it got asked.
Me me me, I have been using panty liners for a while now and thought that I smelt funky, ESP on hot days. I have since changed the type of panty liners to always fresh ones and the smell seems to have vanished I'm thinking maybe my body/ I was having a reaction to the cheapy liners I was buying.

Wow ladies thanks for this thread - today I was feeling exactly the same way - I showered this morning, got clean clothes on, LOADS of deodorant and I still feel sweaty and smelly Esp 'down there'.... I feel like i'm leaking urine too which is mortifying... i'm turning into an incontinent old stink bag Pelvic floor is getting a very good workout whilst I type!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank goodness someone else said this! I never had much discharge before becoming pregnant and never noticed a smell either. Now, its really getting to me - I hope it goes away after labor. I feel like I can smell it after using the bathroom, too. Glad I'm not the only one.

Ok, so clearly i'm not alone.

It's funny, because I haven't noticed any increase in discharge after the 2nd trimester, no urine leaking or anything like that. And if I smell my panties when i go to the bathroom or even the paper I use to wipe myself with, it smells normal.

I feel like I have an awful breath too and chew on breath mints ALL DAY!!!

It's like... something (not the baby!!!) is rotting inside of me. I'm just hoping little bubba inside doesn't have that same sense of smell I have. Poor thing.... :S

I haven't noticed any unusual underarm odor, but I have pretty much constant vaginal discharge in the third trimester and it definitely has an odor. I wouldn't call it "bad" - it doesn't smell like infection or yeasty or anything. Its just different and pretty noticeable.

My OH and I still have sex on occassion but foreplay is out of the question lol

JB3 it's quite possible. The bleaching agents/chemicals they use in the cheap pads can alter your hormone and ph level and cause a reaction.

Weird i havent noticed anything yet.. and im like a smell freak i smell everything..

in the first tri my nose was so sensitive my pee stunk so bad to me it made me wanna be sick im not even kidding it stunk to me!

I wear panty liners everyday, i use the always fresh scented ones and when i pull down my pants to use the bathroom i just smell the panty liner mostly.. ive been having more discharge then usual tho lately so annoying grr thank goodness for panty liners!
