Anyone else had to return toys that didn't work?

My poor Amanda got the brunt of things this year. Her Zhu Zhu pet that I bought off of Ebay, because it wasn't available in Canada at the time, didn't work. Bought a replacement at Toys R Us who are finally stocking them.

Her favorite toy is her karaoke machine. It needs to now be exchanged as it isn't working properly.

I also got her a sweater and camisole. When she took her sweater off on Christmas Day, I noticed her camisole was ripped and had a hole in the back.

You know what's hard? Explaining to her that you have to bring it back when she's saying "But Santa brought it." EEK!

aww bless luisa's toys were all ok, but oh cousins got it this year.. one of them got a wii game and the disc wasnt in the box! the other got dj hero for the xbox and it wouldnt switch on!

oh got dj hero and his works fine thank god! he would have been as upset as a 10 year old lol xx

yep one toy my 6yr old ask for fluffy goes walkies it didnt walk n everywhere was out of stock so had to get a refund took her shopping to choose something else she chose a dog that was similar to the fluffy from argos got it home n they'd given her completely the wrong thing (was sealed in a grey bag so we didnt even noticeit was a glowy bear) went online for her to look n found they had a fluffy when they said they hadnt so took the bear back n got fluffy btw it still dosent walk properly

I ordered another karaoke machine but didn't get the same one. Read some reviews and some were not good. So when that gets here I will return the other.

my oh is so cross it was the only thing she asked for n had been on about it for months hes thinking about complaining to manufacturers (sp??) what goods a walking dog that dosent walk

We got sophie-louise an ipod touch and it didn't work had to bring it back to the shop, with sophie-louise asking alot of questions about santa, I was soooo mad

That's just it, isn't it? I told her I'd have to bring it back and she said "I thought Santa brought it?"

Of course, I had to say that Santa made all the toys in Toys R Us. LOL It's bad enough she almost caught me out so many times at Christmas, and was skeptical as it was before then.

Hope that the next karaoke machine I ordered online from another company is much better. Somewhat it is because with this new one she can record her singing.
