Anyone else have successful home birth after nasty tear?

Hi all. Had my first at home and it was amazing. Loved every second and couldn't recommend highly enough. However, I did require a transfer to hospital due to a 3rd degree tear.

I am now planning my second home birth, which I'm hoping to try in the water as i've heard it can help re the tearing etc.. Just wondering whether anyone else has gone on to have a successful home birth after tearing so badly first time round?
