Hi, I have been having the most horrible dreams that seem so real. So far I practically pushed my husband out of bed and was hysterical as there was a massive spider climbing up the wall (there wasn't and it was dark anyway so I wouldn't be able to see it even if there was) then last night I saved somebody from drowning as they were having a nose bleed??! but doing so I lost the baby and was wheeled down a million corridors through loads of doors?! All have really real but really upsetting.
Anyone else having bad dreams? Xx

Yes I had one last night actually where there was a leak in the ceiling of my daughters bedroom, we were frantically moving out what we could then the ceiling collapsed :-/ scary!!! Hate freaky dreams like that. I had loads of strange dreams when pregnant last time, guess it's a normal thing. Just wish I could get a good nights sleep! When I wake up I keep having allergy problems (I'm guessing it's hayfever ) so my nose is streaming and I struggle to get back to sleep.

Oh how horrible EmzyJA :( hope your allergies stop playing up soon. xx

Yes,

I actually had a dream not last night but the night before, and although it wasn’t anything bad like murder or anything, it really put me in a bad mood yesterday, me and my husband and my 18 month old went to Amsterdam, but for some reason Amsterdam was more like the French alps, it was really cold and my 18 month old was frozen and had ice all over her and was shivering, it really upset me and I tried to keep her warm but I couldn’t, eventually we got back to our hotel but I was out of my comfort zone being somewhere I didn’t know. This dream put me in a horrendous mood yesterday …. I feel better today :) xx

Me too!i always have quite vivid dreams but these are something else. I had one last week that a massive spider landed on me in bed and was up out of bed screaming...! I have also been sleepwalking a lot. Glad it's not just me, hope we can all get a good nights sleep soon!

I've had more real feeling nightmares since being pregnant than ever before. Its early in the am right now and I'm awake because I was having a terrible nightmare full of death and it wasn't ending. The longest nightmare ever. I average one or two a week, then other nights I have sex dreams. Its all over the place with me but I can't stand these bad ones. Now I can't get back to sleep :(

Those blooming hormones, hope they settle down soon and let us have nice dreams xx

EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!!! It is ridiculous! I have the craziest most vivid dreams and I wake up all upset :( Last night I dreamt that my husbands boss had kidnapped me and brought me to this awful house where he had other women there to have babies and kill them after they are born. I was so disturbed when I woke up, my husbands boss is actually super nice so I am not sure why I would dream that of him :(

I've had mc's previously, and was obviously worried about having another this time, and in the first 12-14 weeks of this pregancy I used to have horrible nightmares about awful things happening to my daughter. They were usually so bad that I would end up in her room at 4 in the morning, or some other ridiculous time, just so I could check that she was still breathing and nothing bad had happened.

I'm assuming it was a result of my fear of losing the baby, and this was how my mind was rationalising'dealing with it, but it was awful. I used to dread going to sleep in case I had another terrible dream where she died or something......

Oh KatyKat :( xx

Dreams are all meant to mean something but I'm afraid to look them up. I have to get up afterwards as they go round and round my head. Xx

I've been having them since very early this pregnancy. They went away for about a month but are back with a vengeance. Husband and I are currently still living apart after a short separation and, when he's not here, they're worse. I didn't sleep for 3 nights in a row and only slept last night because he woke up and comforted me :nope:

Yes horrendous ones.. very real and make me a bit on edge as if they were to come true which is quite unlikely.... hormones - they have a lot to answer for!

I am having the most awful nightmares. But about more childrens nightmares, its like being in a horror film!

I've been having vivid dreams since becoming pregnant. Just recently they have been horrible. We have had some crazy stuff going on in my area. A 10 year old was shot and killed during a home invasion, a couple was arrested for beating a teenager, someone broke into our car over the weekend. Also, I'm not sure if any of you heard of the Franklin Regional school stabbings that occured yesterday, but the school is about an hour from here, so it's been all over our local news.

Last night I had two identical dreams of someone breaking into my home. One was with a gun, the other with a knife. My fiance is working out of town so I'm home by myself. I texted him at 4:30am telling him how I scared I was. I hate it :(

I had another one last night, again not murder or anything, but I am traumatized by the C-section that I had with my daughter so I am desperate for a VBAC this time. In my dream I ended up having another C-section (there was no reason for it) and I cried for ages fighting against the medics to have it, I then didn’t get to see my baby for 2 days but everyone else saw her before me… weird dream:( xx

I ha an awful dream that I was sentenced to hang :-/ I couldn't stop crying hysterically telling everyone I was pregnant but they wouldn't change their mind. I kept thinking about how I would never meet my baby it was awful I woke up almost hyperventilating. Is this a hormone thing? Or underlying anxiety?

I've had such terrible nightmares since pregnant that I've woken up hyperventilating as well...never had this happen before pregnancy. I think its hormones, not underlying issues. Although I do think parts of the dreams have to do with our fears and subconsciously they're all coming out in our dreams. Like I've had at least 5 dreams of having a daughter since pregnant (one of those dreams was 2 days before I even got my bfp )but I really want my first born to be a boy, always have. And I think the daughter dreams are my subconscious telling me to get used to having a girl because it just might be one. Lol and so now I'm convinced its a girl :)
I dreamed I had a ten year old girl and these two older girls bullied her so bad one day they tried to beat her to death. But she lived, then I caught them in my house! And when I went into the room they came out of there was my daughter with a shoe lace tied around her neck strangling to death. The girls were stalling me in the other room chatting and taking pictures with me (I didn't know they were the bullies) like they were trying to take enough time so my daughter would be dead before I got to the other room.
.....scared the pants off of me!!!!

N27murray that sounds very scary! I've had 2 dreams I'm having a boy, guess we will find out at the gender scan next Wednesday :D

Ladies I hope they stop soon, your dreams sound so terrifying. I'm getting so fed up as am always shattered from being awake for ages. Yet again today I fell asleep on the sofa as I physically couldn't keep awake and missed ice cream in the sun at the park with my daughter and hubbie :( xx
