Anyone else taking ages to get back to normal?

Just wondering if anyone else is taking a long time to get back to normal after MC?

I had mine via D&C 11 weeks ago, my cycles have not returned yet & my hormones are still out of whack.

Everyone else seems to be pregnant or trying again already, it's incredibly frustrating!

Tell you what, after this, I'll never complain about the 2ww again!

Can I ask more what's going on with you? Have you not received a period at all in the past 11 weeks? Or are they different?

nearly 6 weeks on and my body is still playing games. thought spotting had stopped but today started again. so had 9 days free of spotting but am hoping it may be af as also had ewcm with the spotting for the 2 weeks before it stopped. hmmmmm.

i agree will never moan on a 2ww again (though am sure we will lmao!) x

I know the feeling hun. I waited 12 weeks for AF and had spotting in between time up to it, cycle then as normal exact same length as before but now I'm spotting again and no where near due for another!!! It's so frustrating

me too, its getting very frustrating.

I had 2 weeks of spotting, then light bleeding on & off. Now really heavy for past few days & no sign of it easing.

Will be so glad when my body gets back to normal.

Just wanted to send you great a big squishy . We're not trying again "yet" either. Waiting for more testing and the go ahead from doc. My last miscarriage was also in February.

I had a D&C at about 17 weeks on February 11. I haven't ovulated since and my doctor has put me back on the birth control pill for a couple months to help sort my hormones out. Frustrating, I know. We'll eventually get there though. It's just taking a bit more time.

i can imagine how annoying it feels to wait for long....well my surgery has only been 18 days ago and im already impatient as hell in getting my body to be normal again

i'm still spotting randomly and my doctor said its normal....it feels crazy saying this but i just want AF to come back this month so i can get it over and done with and get on with my normal cycle again....

i hope it will happen this month for you Dan-O, i have my fingers crossed for you!

Thanks guys, good to know I'm not alone, in one way...
but bad you are all going through virtually the same thing

I've had more light bleeding since I posted, it's driving me crazy.
I'm 99% sure I'm not ovulating tho, I think it's just every time I lift something heavy, it starts it off again.

I'm charting my basals again now, so maybe that will offer an insight as to where I am.
Anyone else charting again yet?

im in the same boat.. its been 8 weeks today since d&c and still no af or spotting or slight bleeding or ANYTHING!!!

i dont feel normal because i just want my period to hurry up and come back. ha i never thought id say that

Dan-o I had a good 10 days of spotting & brownish discarge, then light bleeds that stopped & started before the finally reared her ugly head. I spoke to GP about spotting & he said it was just my body clearing itself out, combined with my period even thought the bleeding was light.

Couple of days after it was heavy as (wished I'd never wished for ). I was going thru max absobency tampon in 1.5 hrs. In the end I went to GP yesterday & been prescribed something acid to slow bleeding & it does seem to be working, so the may hit with avengence soon.

I would say if you are at all concerned speak to yuor GP/consultant.

I'm not going back to temping just yet, am just gonna have a couple of months just chillin out. I've been thru enough without worrying abut ov just yet. I plan on waiting about 3 months plus before I chart again although hoping that I might get pg before that.

I hope arrives soon for you girls but I sure as hell ain't gonna send you mine 'cos shes an evil hag, I'm gonna hit her over the head & then bury her one night in a field, so she can't annoy anyone else.
