Hi

My girl is 6wks today and has been ff from 4wks... She is great at burping (massive ones too!) and ill keep her upright for about 5-10mins afterwards but she'll vomit after most feeds! Sometimes it's alot and sometimes it's just a litttle bit. I had to change her formula from S-26 Gold as it was extremely heavy and didnt sit well with her at all and she is now on Aptamil 1. The vomitting did stop for a day or 2 but it's started again!

Im told it's normal for babies to vomit after most feeds........????

Anyone else have this problem?

didnt want to read and run. My lo was fomula feed from 3 weeks. tried aptamal straight away and she was fine. She was actually more sick on breats milk. Hopefully someone on here will be more helpful. I actually asked on here other day that i thought it was odd that a FF baby wasnt sick

my lo is the same, he is sick after every feed. Im going to speak to my hv, but from what ive read, i think its reflux. If they are suffering, you can get gaviscon for it x

Yeh it's really starting to worry me today as she hasn't been able to sleep all day, just when she nods off she's woken up by vomitting! She's still vomitting 2hrs after her feed!!! Now that's not normal, i know alot of babies are sick after they feed but 2hrs later and after every feed doesn't sound right to me!

my lo is exactly the same, pretty sure its reflux. try keeping her upright as much as poss, and tilt her cot/moses basket xx

My LO is diagnosed with reflux, sicking up all his feed after most feeds and fussing etc. We have been using infant gaviscon which helps but have just picked up a prescription for Carobel which is meant to be better at keeping the feeds down.

I am breastfeeding. Some is normal but i thinbk you know as a mum what is normal and what dont seem right.

yeh that's what im trying... it's just so frustrating! thanks it's nice to know im not alone! xxx

btw - your lil one and mine share the same b'day!
