Anyone ever breastfed while pregnant?

So I got my the other day which is good Hoping it's a sticky one. I'm still breast feeding Kaya and don't think she'll be wanting to stop any time soon lol. So I'm just looking for experiences of breast feeding while pregnant and maybe tandem feeding as well. I've read up about it, but there's nothing like first hand experience (nothing to do with letting you all know I'm pregnant, honest...)

I bf my firstborn until i was about 5 months pregnant, and he was around 8/9 months old. He just gradually stopped on his own. Congrats on your BFP!!

I plan on breastfeeding my DD while I am pregnant. But she only has it at night.

I got pregnant while brestfeeding Toby, he was only 5months and I really didn't wanna stop breastfeeding but I have a history of miscarriage and prem labour so looked into this really well. Most information I found said that there was no reason at all to stop breastfeeding while pregnant.


Unfortunately for me the feeding was setting off painful cramps and coz of my history I stopped. I did persist until Toby was 9months and then had to stop as I couldn't risk losing my well established pregnancy


Toby didn't seem to mind....it was me that was most upset

did you suffer from pregnancy sickness whilst pregnant with Kaya?

I've only heard so far, that if you suffer from pregnancy sickness it obviously gets worse when you breastfeed!

and obviously some wean themselves...

The sickness has really kicked in this week, threw up this morning but I'm getting really bad nausea almost all the time. Luckily OH has been off work but he's back on monday and I'm really dreading it. It's so hard feeling this awful and looking after a toddler. Luckily, feeding Kaya doesn't seem to make the sickness any worse - so far.
