Anyone ever had a false negative pregnancy test?

Im 2/3 weeks late for my period

I am needing to wee alot, but the Doctor is now treating me for a bladder infection (on antibiotics) Im also bloated & occasionaly feel dizzy (these may be symptoms of the infection?)

I did a test last weekend (clearblue) & it was I told this to the Doctor, so they didnt test again

Anyone ever had a false negative test?

P.S....

I am not on any contraception, just condoms & occasional NTNP We usually take at least 6months to concieve

Ideally I dont want to be pregnant for another few months

I got a few false negatives when I was pregnant with William, I suggest getting a load of cheap tests from eBay and keep testing till you get a positive or your period. Hope you get the result you want

Several, with my now LO. It was just too early or wrong time of day (too diluted).

I think I tested to early, some people don't get a positive result till much later than the average.

I got about 3 false negatives when I got pregnant. The test didn't show up positive until I was abut 6 weeks gone already!

The first test I took was negative so I didnt bother testing for ages after that (My period are irregular anyway) I took another test 8 weeks later and it was positive so at the time of my first test I must have been one week gone- maybe it was BFN because it was so early or because it wasnt my first wee of the morning- not sure! I'd try another one just to make sure xx

I took a negative at 14 dpo then didn't test again until two weeks later as we were not TTC and it was a positive!

I had a false negetive blood test in mid-late August, but would have conceived in July.

No, no symptoms at all

Actually no, I didn't start having symptoms til the end of August. I had a blood pregnancy test done cuz I randomly passed out and the hospital was trying to find out why.

I keep going really dizzy/light headed too

But I already have 3 children & ive never had a false negative before So it would be most unusual for me

yup, i was testing too early.
i would get the faintest lines with FMU and negatives the rest of the day until about 15/16 dpo.

I got four negatives and only actually got a positive until I was about 8 weeks pregnant! My periods were erratic anyway but the first time I took the test and it came back negative I knew I was but kept getting negatives!

i had neg blood/urine until 9 weeks. even quantative test wasnt showing a pregnancy, then the numbers went sky high at 9 weeks, and they thought ectopic , I was no longer considered crazy lol. Had an ultrasound and confirmed 9 weeks preg.

It can happen just keep on testing until you get your period.

You don't need to wait for delivery of cheap tests from ebay, poundland sell packs of 2 - I got my bfp on them too so I know they work lol.
