Anyone expecting twins ?

I'm looking for reassurance. I went for a scan and discovered that I'm pregnant again after a blighted ovum with twins! You can only imagine the shock. Now while one is doing well the other one is slightly behind by 3 days and had a heart beat but was very hard to pick up. Babies were dating at 6w1d from my ovulation date and 5w5d. They are not identical and are in two distinct sacks. Praying that both will be fine but sonographer was concerned about the younger one, but I think they just need time to grow as it's so early ...

Anyone else gone for an early scan ? And had similar reports ??

I'm pregnant with twins! Was a bit of shock. I had a scan at 7 weeks, but they were pretty similar at that point. Don't imagine the measurements are very accurate when they are so small. When do you have another scan? Is your doctor concerned?

Yay congratulations Hun! The sonographer wants to keep an eye on the smaller one. He was a bit concerned about the size of the yoke sac compared to the other twins which was a good size.

Scan very soon I pray to God that all will be OK. I'm trying to rest a lot though in the meantime and I'm sleeping tons !! They are also giving me cramps, and a considerable amount of gas !!! Mornings are getting quite difficult now for me. I've gagged two mornings in a row, but fine later on. Ms ok not all day please lol !!!

Firstbaby...that's great news! I was quite in shock myself. I'm trying not to get too excited just in case anything happens (I had a mmc at 10 weeks back in July). to you all xxx

Yes I'm really scared about that to- it's higher risk of miscarriage isn't it with twins x
