Hi....been having acupuncture sessions with cycle, weekly and 3 sessions done.

Anyone find they affected your cycle length and AF? I usually have a stable 29 day cycle with positive opk on day 15/16. This cycle I am already on day 33 and no sign of Ad....I felt like my body was gearing up for it two nights ago, cramping and general heavy feeling but nothing. A little bit of pink when I wiped yesterday....has she lengthened my cycles or totally stopped my AF coming???!!!

Not happy with a longer cycle....I think ovulation might have been a day or so later too

Help!!!

Hi! I do acu and herbs every week and haven't noticed AF being pushed back. I am trying to lengthen the luteal phase, so I wouldn't mind a couple more days on the back end, but it's not happening.

I know acu docs usually say it takes a few months for things to get sorted out, so it may be that something else (or just your body being quirky) that has caused your cycle to be a little different this month.

I have to ask the obvious question: Have you tested just to be sure you aren't actually pg??

I'd say stick with it for at least three months and if you feel it isn't working for you, then move on! Good luck to you! :flower:

Thanks Vonn

Yeah I tested the day I was due AF and the next day and then again yesterday...I knew I wasn't as I could feel AF bubbling under. I spoke to her yesterday morning and she said she'd never had anyone experience that and it could be unassociated. I am not convinced it's the only thing different this cycle. Anyway AF finally arrived yesterday afternoon 4 days late which I am glad about....Can now move on to next.

I had acupuncture today, will stick it out another couple of cycles and see what happens
