I have just learned about the Ramzi theory today and am quite intrigued . Just curious if anyone else has heard of this, if it held true for you, and if you can help me determine my 6w3d ultrasound . It is transvaginal so I don't believe the image needs to be flipped correct? I believe only transabdominal needs to be flipped but again I'm just learning . Thanks !

Im not sure how your image was taken. Assuming that the top of the picture as you posted it is the "top," up towards your head....My understanding is it DOES need to be flipped. As in, if you were laying down to have the exam and this image showed up on the screen in front of you, the baby is on your left side, and therefore a girl. Difficult when Im not sure how you pic was taken, only you know :flower:

Yes the top of the image is the top of my uterus . Thanks for your input :) I'm still just so confused because a lot of people say only transabdominal needs to be flipped and transvaginal does not and then others say both need to be flipped . So this makes a big difference I just don't know which is true ! Lol.

All I could compare it to is dental xrays (Im a hygienist) where we always flip the xray. Think as if you were laying on your back and holding the image directly over the top of your belly, with left on left and right on right. Helped me through school to think of it actually ON the person. Very confusing!

It really is! I wish I had an ultrasound tech friend haha.

Was not correct for me. Baby implanted on my left side and is a boy :)

When was your sonogram that showed it on the left side? Was it between 6-8 weeks ? & did they tell you if the placenta was on the left or right of the baby ? Because I believe that's what matters, not the baby itself.
