anyone going the natural root? acu, ND...

Hi everyone,

My husband and I have been TTC #1 for about six years. We did clomid for a bit, but that didn't work out and we don't want to see an RE yet so I am trying to correct my hormone problems via acupuncture and by visiting a ND. Anyone have success with this route? I am seeing huge improvements in my health and have ovulated two cycles in a row for the first time in years!!

I've low progesterone and was doing acu for a few months. Never did it increase my hormone levels. I would seek out a different doc and maybe try Femara if Clomid didn't work x

Hiya - Great news that you have had two natural cycles!
I think the body has the capability to fix itself when given the chance... but I must say I'm getting frustrated with mine!
I'm post-pill crazy-cycles, and haven't gone down the Clomid route just yet. Went off the pill 14 months ago, it took 9 months to have a period, and I've been using lots of chinese medicine (herbs and acupuncture), which seems to have been the reason I eventually got my cycles back. However, went travelling over summer (Australian summer!) and haven't had a period for over two months again... dash it... thought things were going back to 'normal'!
Anyway, I'm persisting... hope you have success as well...
