Anyone had to have a TFMR?

I have a genetic condition with a 50% chance of it being passed on to any future baby of mine. The condition is extremely wide and could have very minimal effects on a baby or extremely severe and we are currently thinking about trying for a baby but because of the types of problems that could occur (multiple brain tumors, loss of sight, loss of limbs, severe facial disfigurements, growth problems, learning difficulties just to name a few) we are thinking of getting prenatal tests with the thought of terminating if they were positive... but just wanted to speak to someone who had been through something similar as termination is something I have never thought I could do before and I know how hard its going to be for me, just wanted to discuss it please....
