Anyone have a successful pregnancy after ectopic?

A little about me. I had a tubal reversal in 2010. I never fell pregnant despite fertility treatments, HSG and lap surgery. In Aug 2014 I had IVF and gave birth to a baby boy in April 2015. In Feb of this year I got a BFP that ended in suspected ectopic. We decided to move forward with frozen transfer of our remaining two embryos. This is scheduled for next month but I got a BFP on Tues. I'm scared to death!

Please share any success stories!

I'm sorry for your loss

I had an ectopic in January last year. I had an ovary removed as a result. I then became pregnant again a few months later, and baby was in the right place with a HB at early 6/7 week scan. I unfortunately lost that LO to a MMC at 12 weeks. I think the 2nd loss was because of my age (I was 40 so MC is more common).

I'm now pregnant again, 21 weeks so fingers crossed this is a successful pregnancy!

Congratulations on your BFP! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months. Will you get an early scan?

A friend of mine had an ectopic pregnancy and had an overly removed she's currently expecting her 3rd baby! Il be keeping you in my prayers!! Congrats on your BFP!! X

Beta on Thurs was 38. Beta on Friday was 63. Going for an appointment today

She was unable to see anything on the scan except that my lining is good at 13.44mm and that ovaries and tubes look good. I had another beta and will have a repeat scan on the 12th.

Yesterday's beta was 556! I think I'm going to leave betas and tests alone at this point and enjoy

Betas look good, Shane the scan was too early to see anything conclusive but it's good about your lining and ovaries/tubes.

Good luck for scan on 12th. I bet it will really drag for you, but by then your eggy should definitely be visible. I really hope it's burying nicely into the lining for you.

I had an ectopic turned abdominal and had my tube fixed. I got pregnant a few months later with my now 2 yo. I'm back here now because I'm a few days late on my period with negative tests... Was trying to snoop around to see if its possible that it's another ectopic. With mine I got positive tests so I don't know.

This last pregnancy ended in a blighted ovum.

Fluterby, so sorry to hear that Sending you positive thoughts.

Nazz, with ectopics the hcg rise can be slow to start or erratic so it's possible, but I would say more likely that you O'd a bit later than you thought. Have you tested again since? Hope AF has stayed away for you.

With my suspected EP my beta rose slowly then it would double then barely rise. With my BO my beta consistently doubled.

It's been 4 weeks since the d&c and yesterday I got a BFP and I've been taking tests like a crazy person. Not sure if it's left over from last pregnancy or a new one.

I'd say any residual hcg from d&c would be gone after 4 weeks... I think you've gone and got yourself pregnant! Hope those tests progress nicely x
