Hey,
Just wondering if anyone has had a vaginal breech birth and if you wanted to share stories, tips etc......
I'm 29 weeks with a breech. Still lots of time to turn but just trying to educate myself. I had been planning a home water birth but if baby doesn't turn I'll be transferred to an OB and will be in the hospital. Thankfully my midwife is only going to refer me to an OB who will let me try a vaginal birth.

Checkout birth without fear . They have a ton if vagunal breech births I all kinds , even twins

I just had one three days ago :-). In the process of typing up my birth story.

The biggest hurdle is finding someone willing to allow you to try.

I second Birth Without Fear. Also, I can't say enough about doing the breech baby exercises on Spinning Babies and trying to find a chiropractor (or osteopath, which is who I saw) who knows the Webster Technique. Also, lots of swimming or deep water immersion where your belly hangs. Also, visualisations and talking to your baby asking him/her to turn if it's safe are great too (yes, really, sounds weird but it does work). But try not to stress too much, you have soooo much time left.

My daughter was breech from 28 to 34 weeks. I did Spinning Babies (lots of pelvic tilts, inversions and breech tilt every day), saw my osteopath to adjust my pelvis, and swam 3x a week and did as much walking and time on the birth ball as I could. My daughter turned at 34 weeks and was born at home at 37 weeks. Have faith because more than likely your baby will turn and you'll have a great home birth!
