Anyone have experience using Crinone?

Found out during my anatomy ultrasound at 21 weeks that I have a short cervix. Was going between 2.4 to 1.83 right there on the screen. The perinatologist recommended me starting the Crinone gel suppository to act as a glue for my cervix. I am now being scanned weekly to monitor the condition abd am trying to stay hopeful that the meds will work. Had anyone used Crinone before and had good results such as lengthening of the cervix or ability to carry to term? Needing some positive feedback to calm my nerves as I am fully aware stress puts me at higher risk for PTL...
