Anyone have probs with the TT size 2 teats?

Moved jenna onto the size 2 teats yesterday 1st 2 bottles were fine so took to the new teats great, then the next 3 bottles the teat kept going in on itself like folding in if that makes sence!! I had no problems with the size 1 teats so im not sure what i do. do i change brands or?? Help Needed as she does get a tad agitated when the teat goes away!! xxx

Violet does this when we first change teats. I think it's them getting used to them.. I think it's that they haven't realised that they don't need to suck as hard

If you look inside the TT Teat, you will see there is a wee valve thingy, give it a squeeze and it will stop that from happening.

Alex's TT Teats were doing that till OH found the valve thingy needed to be squeezed, hasnt done it since x

Look on the underside of the teat and there is like a wee pointy bit, just squeeze that open x

Great tip, seems to work on my bottles as well. Sometimes LO sucks so hard the whole teat collapses inhis mouth.....

Is it just TT teats that have this?

The valve is there to allow the air out when sucking so the baby doesnt swallow tha air and get colic or trapped wind. (thats what the bottle makers say anyway!)

a lot of brands teats have a valve , but the TT ones are the only ones that stick out into the bottle most lay flat , just like a slit in the teat to let the air in.
i think the TT valve is the best one ( lets air through the easiest ), the worst one i had was boots , it was just impossible for him to feed from them...

If you buy anymore check they have the valve, some size don't (I have a pack with no valves)
