I am currently going through my third miscarriage, this one was a mmc discovered when I should've been 9+1, and was conceived straight after a loss in September around 6 weeks. I didn't wait for AF as my DD was conceived straight after my first loss in 2012 without waiting for AF, so I didn't feel the need to wait when I knew things worked out ok with her.
Now I'm really mixed up about what to do and when to try next, I know a lot of advice is to wait, and in some ways I would like to, especially after two losses back to back, but then there are so many reasons not to wait too.
I just wondered if any others had success with trying again straight away.

Hello. Your story sounds similar to mine.
My first loss was before my daughter. I had one af and conceived straight away with dd.
Last July I had an Mc at 8 weeks, had one af (not on purpose though - I just didn't conceive that cycle) and got pregnant again with my mmc. On 4th Dec last year I found out at my 12 week scan that baby had died at 10 weeks. I waited 7 weeks to miscarry before having an erpc at the end of Jan.
I didn't ovulate the next cycle and the one after I was too afraid to try. Thus little baby which is due in 6 weeks was conceived the cycle after that.

I hope this helps. Not ovulating after the erpc was my body's way of saying it wasn't ready. I also felt one af after a Mc helped flush everything out.

I'm sorry for your losses. I hope this helps. I know at times it feels like it will never happen or not happen soon enough. I'm sending lots of baby dust to you.

Yes- but mine were early losses (CPs)- all before 6w.
I had 3 in a row, actually. And they destroyed me- I lost hope.
I was then told to wait a cycle and put on femara and progesterone, and my first cycle on those I got pregnant with DS. He's happily sleeping on DH right now.
We had 1 "whoops" night when DS was 10mo... and got a BFP- waiting to see how this one is going, but it's lasted longer than all of my CPs so far!

Good luck. Losses in a row are mentally and physically exhausting- and I can't imagine losing them further on...

Thanks for your stories ladies, gives me some hope for the future. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancies and your precious rainbows!

I tried to see the fact I pretty much went straight back to my normal cycle and ovulated as a sign my body was ready to try again, but it obviously didn't work out this time the same as it did with DD, I really can't believe it happened twice in a row, I sometimes feel like I'm watching it all happen to someone else.

Spud did you do anything different or get any kind of treatment or anything this time?

Bubbles - when I get on the computer (I'm on my phone) I asked the very question in a thread and got lots of good replies.

I didn't do anything differently other than change my prenatal to garden of life organic whole food prenatal. I also tried to take cq10 to improve my egg quality but I kept forgetting.
I also heard that semen quality can be improved by lots more ejaculation (sorry tmi). It didn't happen intentionally but there was a lot lot lot of bd-ing the week prior to ovulation (we were on holiday and trying to be romantic lol) whereas previously it was only a couple times around ovulation.
I also tried to slow down a bit and rest more.

It's hard to wait for three mcs in a row because just one is heartbreaking. I felt like why should I wait to have another just to find out.
Some people have sworn by acupuncture and Chinese herbs but I didn't try it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the next one is a sticky bean for you.

Thanks chick. I've switched to a new prenatal with omega 3 and started coQ10 this time too, so maybe that will help. I really don't want to have to go through all this again just for the testing, as I don't think it's likely to even give us any answers anyway, so just hope the next one is sticky and we don't need to worry about it anymore x
