anyone know what is next?

Hey ladies. So i have had clomid for 4 months now, ovulated every month, but never got a bfp. not even a hint of a line. have to see a FS now. what can they do next?? i just dont have any idea what the next step would be.

My doctor has said if my 3month of clomid doesnt work he wants to send me for a dye test (they pop a catheter into your uterus and pump blue dye through it to make sure your tubes are clear, they then xray you abdomen) either that or a laparoscopy (where they pop a camera into your tummy and check your tubes arent blocked)... personally if it doesnt work ill be having the dye test as im not a fan of general anaesthetic.

I am asking the same question. This is my last round of Clomid before seeing doc again. I ovulated the first two rounds but no sign of O this cycle yet. I have not had an hsg/lap test. So I am sure that will be next on the list! I just do not know what else besides that doc will suggest? I do not know if I can keep going on Clomid w/ no results. It is heartbreaking. Good luck and keep me posted on what the next step is!!

yeah i have already had the hsg (dye test) and my tubes were perfectly clear!! so confused

maybe the IUI? is that what its called where they inseminate your egg with the sperm and pop it back inside you? xx

no iui means they wash the sperm and insert it near the time you ovulate. if they actually fertilize the egg and then reinsert that is IVF. i am REALLY hoping not to have to go the ivf route as it is SO expensive and not paid for in the us.

Hi Girls

Why were you given Clomid? were they sure you weren't ovulating? just wondering as I have been to the doc and she did bloods and said it looked fine and has referred me to the FS.

I was just wondering if maybe clomid might help me? Although my bloods seemed fine.

Hi lisa, I'm on clomid for my pcos and its to regulate my ovulation and put me into 28day cycle as I was abit everywhere, I'm sure if you mention it to your fs she/he will advise hun. Good luck xxx

i was put on clomid because I was NOT ovulating. my non medicated cycles had progesterone levels of like 0.1 or somthing crazy like that. i guess i am gonna do one more month this month and then onto the fertility specialist.

good luck sarlar.. my bloods were fine, no problems so from scans I only have all the cysts within each ovary so i was put on it to make my folicales grow xxx
