Anyone in their 20's LTTTC with no kids on either side?

Need some buddies to chat to! I'm 24 and hubby is 26, been together 7 years, married Aug 2009. I'm a teacher and he is a scientist, both been given all clear with tests but I have ridiculous cycles!!

Not PCOS, they aren't sure why, waiting for FS referal. I'm 5'5 and 8.5 stone, very active (horsey!) and hubby is 5'7 and 9.5 stone

Anyone similar??

I'm similar. I'm 27, DH is 28. We have been married since Sept '08 and trying since Sept '10. I'm also a teacher (kindergarten) and DH is an air traffic controller for the Navy. They have told me many things, PCOS, endo and andometriosis, blocked tubes, etc. My current doctor says I am unexplained. I have regular cycles, except that they are 32 days rather than the usual 28. Starting Clomid this month, having my 2nd HSG, and having my first IUI. Maybe we can help each other through this! As long as I have been on b&b and talked to women on the other side of "the pond", I still don't really get what a "stone" is...lol. Darn US and having to have a different measurement system than the rest of the world!!!

one stone is 14 pounds

I'm hoping the specialist will put me on clomid to regulate ovulation. What are HSG (is that lap and dye uterus scan?) and IUI?x

Similar here to :) I'm 23 and OH is 29 next week. Together 8 years and hoping for a ring on my finger eventually :) ttc for a year with tubal fertility issues (the issue being I only have one tube) OH is off for SA on Wednesday so hopefully our next step is IUI :)
Sending dust your way ladies :)

Hiya,
I'm 26 and OH is 29, been married since sept 2010 and ttc since dec 2010. Cycles have been really irregular since we started trying. Ranging from 28-36 days, had blood tests and all ok. Hubby has had a SA which was at first glance was concerning but 2nd opinion was ok. We have an appointment with fertility spec in May if no bfp before then.

Another similar story here!

I'm coming up to 24, and husband is 26, and we have been TTC for almost 2 years now. I am also a teacher (A Level) and husband works in banking. No problems found as of yet, all tests have come back A-OK, which is becoming increasingly frustrating with every appointment. Waiting for our second appointment with the FS at the end of March, and desperately seeking answers. If nothing by the summer holidays we will be taking a much needed break away from LTTTC, as it's sadly starting to really take its toll on us now

It's so frustrating being 'unexplained' isn't it? :brat:
My cycles are a joke!! Currently settled down to 40-55 days but geeeez it's driving me crazy!! Currently waiting for first FS appt letter

Sorry this took me so long to respond. I have been super busy. HSG is hysterosalpingogram. They shoot a special dye through your flaopian tubes while x-raying you to see if you have any blockages in your tubes. I had one a few months ago and they had some difficulty with it, but they decided that my left tube is blocked and after a second attempt, my right tube was "sluggish". My new doctor doesn't trust these results, so she ordered me to have another one. It is like the lap and dye but less invasive. I don't have to be put out for it and it isn't a "surgery" like the lap. The IUI is intrauterine insemination. They will take my DH's sperm, clean off the seminal fluid and get rid of the sperm that aren't strong enough, and then shoot the good ones into me. This will allow the sperm to go farther than if we just BD.

Your cycles are that long and they aren't suspecting PCOS? My new doctor is convinced that even though my last hSG results weren't good, that I do not have a tubal factor and I am unexplained! While I don't want anything to be wrong with my tubes, I really don't want to be unexplained! Neither one is good though. Hopefully you will get some answers with the FS.

My bloods came back normal and I have had an ultrasound which showed no abnormal cycsts so dfinitely not PCOS

I am just a weirdo

I feel your frustration!! I'm sorry your dealing with such shitty cycles (excuse my language) mine are OK, are usual between 32-38 days but are quite regular. I have a couple of off months, one where I had a 13 day cycle () and another where I had a 63 day cycle, but all in all kinda OK.

You're definitely not a weirdo, just stuck in limbo! I am SO SO sick of blood tests coming back fine, no cysts on my TV Scan, no blockages on my HSG. Just this second booked myself in for my 4th round of blood tests to see whats going on.

Good news? While we are all stuck in infertility limbo with no answers to keep us sane, we have each other to moan to, safe in the knowledge that we know exactly how the others are feeling
