anyone managed to bargin with pixifoto???

anyone know if you can bargin with mobile photographers? i got james' pictures taken the week before last and the women wants £240 for the pictures you get 30+ but its only 8 different poses.... so only want the 8 half decent size ones.... i wont pay the whole £240 for them don't have that anyways so wonder if anyone k...new if they were likely to take an offer so they get something?

the company was called pixifoto, i had them done before cost me £170 for the full set but now its up to £240, i don't want to pay the £170 never mind the £240, so wondering if there might be a way i can bargin her to get the 8 poses but only one in the one size???

i got one print for £7.50 which i am happy with but they said that each print that size is worth £37 which i think is rediculous, wondering if i might be able to get the 8 poses for less than £100?

anyone managed to bargin them down before to a good price?

Im sure they only just do the 'sets' which is silly really as i only wanted the bigger images! Just ask anyway they worst they can say is no. xxx

i'm getting 8 poses and thats a about 4different sizes of these pictures don't want millions of different sizes just want one of each.

Just tell them the ones you want and ask them to price them, don't listen if they say its cheaper to buy more, this is just a selling tactic, be firm and if they don't offer you a better deal then just get the ones you really like.

I picked up my photos today, from the same company but it was a permanent studio... I spent way to much but I'm really pleased with the photos so I cant complain but Im sure if I was more firm with them I would have had a better deal

That seems really expensive to me I got 8 poses done with pixiphoto here in Belfast and have numerous copies in all different sizes I have one massive one (free) then a large one, a smaller one and four smaller one's of all 8 poses and it was £119 for the lot and I bought a pile of keyrings and magnets from them as well to give to family etc

No i didn't bargain or anything the guy told me it was £30 per big photo and that it was cheaper to buy the whole set and I asked him how much it was and he said £110 and was a further £9 for all the magnet's and keyrings

Were they done in a studio or like a wee booth stand in a shopping centre? I got them done in the shopping centre. I would try and bargain with them. I know in Mothercare it costs more because they pay like extra commission or something to mothercare etc for using their stores

Can you buy a cd/dvd instead? With Josh's school photos they wanted £150 for 4 different poses (12 pictures in total), I bought the cd for £32, and then spent £7 in boots getting them printed out, they look absolutely lovely too! So I saved £111 by printing them myself!

I had about 8 different poses in the sets and mine came too £110 so that price they quoted you seems so high!!!

They said to me i had the first pic free then £50 for the first set then £15 there after xx

will let you know tomorrow guess just depends on the person and what they want to get they get commison for what they sell so surely thy'll want to sell that they can even if its a little less.

This was only 3-4 weeks ago. I got the free photo and then 6 sets which included the 10x8 (i think thats the big photo size in the sets) picture, the 7x5 and the 4 little photos. I paid £110 xxx

Im not exactly sure how may sets i got as they are currently at my mums but it was around 6 or 7!

well in the end i spent a fortune, nothing compared to some but the guy got.... £95 off of me for 4 poses but they are brilliant lol happy to share if anyone wants to see?

Try and find a semi proffesional photographer who has or rents a studio.

We just got some done and it was £150 for 26 edited pictures on a disk
