I have been on femara for about 5 cycles. I started out taking 2.5 mg on cycle day 3-7. Then I would go in for an ultrasound to see if it looked like I was going to ovulate. My dr kept bumping up my dosage an extra pill each cycle if he didnt feel like he saw much progress. I started my last cycle about 2 weeks ago and I am now at 10mg cycle day 1-5. I actually just got home from my ultrasound appt and my dr says everything looks really good I should ovulate either today, tomorrow, or next day! So I am very hopeful this month. My Dr says I have PCOS so I was having difficulty ovulating which is why he started me on femara. I went off my birth control pills a year ago and never had a period for 3 months (and was not pregnant). I was very discouraged. So after 9 months of working on my cycles and getting things hopefully back to normal I am starting to see good results. I actually did get pregnant back in March but had a very early miscarriage. So hang in there with the femara. So far I think it has really helped me.
