Hi,
I am currently 36 weeks pregnant with 5th baby,
1st induced at 41wks plus 3 days, 24 hour labour
2nd induced at 41wks plus 3 days 18 hour labour
3rd induced at 38 wks due to infection 12 hour labor
4th induced at 41wks plus 3 days, 1 hour labour, no pushing, very quick.
Now that I am having number 5 and given the fact I always go overdue, nothing ever happens until I am induced and have my waters broken, dispite having contractions for days on end before each I am getting very worried about the birth, I am on medication for anxiety and depression for the past 6 yrs, and am having a lot of problems with anxiety, nightmares and very little sleep, at the thought of going into labour on my own, and baby arriving too quickly, before I can get to hospital and getting my other 4 kids sorted with a relative, doc prescribed tamazapan a few weeks ago on top of my other medication for anxiety, I took 1, as I was desperate for some sleep, had not slept in 3 days, but obviously affected baby as we had a big drop in activity for almost 24 hours, so I will not be taken them again, also sent to FAU, by midwife on a separate occasion as babys heart rate was all over the place, but hospital were happy enough with trace and sent me home, I am getting more anxious as time goes on, and just wanted to know if anyone had successfully been given an induction date for 40 wks, I dont wish to be induced pre term, but would be so much more content if they agreed to induce me at 40 wks, I need to be in hospital when things start off, for peace of mind, I do not see my consultant again until near 40 wks, how can I get them to take my worries seriously, also I have had 2 massive bleeds straight after delivery previously and this is also a big fear if I deliver at home all alone, as my husband works 20 minutes away, sorry to go on but really need some help, thanks:neutral:

If you speak to your midwife she should be able to arrange an appointment with your consultant sooner. I have anxiety so I know it can be awful but with your history and how bad your anxiety is they might just consider it. I asked but was refused but i have a horrible consultant :hugs:

thankyou, have midwife appointment today, get on well with her, but the decision I know lies with consultant, which is difficult, when you never see the same one twice.
