Anyone taking Duphaston ?

Hi. My OBGYN prescribed me Duphaston from cd16 to cd25 for 10days. My progesterone is on lower side. He did follicular monitoring and pin pointed that I ovulate around cd14/15.

My question is that if I get pregnant and stop duphaston on cd25 would it cause me to miscarry or lose the pregnancy ? I get my period on cd29/30. I will be without progesterone for 4/5days if I go by my doctors advice ?

Or should I take HPT on cd26/around 10/11dpo and then decide to continue or stop the pill ? But I wonder the test isn't going to show positive that early. What should I do ?

I am on Duphaston after my FET. Duphaston is progesterone and if your body is not making enough progesterone the pregnancy has a high chances of mc. You can test early with sensitive hpt, I have seen many ladies getting early bfp but I think it's best to tell your situation to your doc and convince him to prescribe you 4/5 days of extra Duphaston. Or if you cant get hold of Duphaston you can order progesterone cream from Amazon. You can apply some in your arms or tummy. I know it won't be as effective as meds but still you can give it a shot.

Thanks fairry. The quote did help me deal with my infertility and 3+ yrs of ttc and failed IVF. You need to take the meds till CD 29 and do a hpt, if positive then bingo and if negative then you need to stop all the meds/ cream.
