Hey ladies,

After years of TTC and trying just about anything except walking on my hands after bding:wacko:, I though maybe I should give the baby aspirin a try. I've never tried it but heard numerous stories about it being helpful(bfp) and others saying it could be dangerous.

I don't have any medical issue and all tests over years came back perfect. had a lap on march 30th that found very mild endo (barely stage 1).

Have any of you tried it? Should it be taken all month long or during a specific time? Dosage?

Thanks for your helps ladies:hugs:

There should be a thread about in the TTC thread...From what I remember it was one a day. It supposedly helps with the lining and implantation.

Baby aspirin is used to help control slight clotting issues [it thins the blood and keeps it flowing]

Plus, it's good for your heart to take one baby aspirin [81mg] a day.

I would check to make sure that you don't have a bleeding disorder before starting it in a regimen....as it would have an adverse reaction if you conceived.

Like any kind of med or vitamin, you should always run it by your doctor before starting. It never hurts to ask.

Hi thanks for the rely in my post x
I was put on baby asprin with my recent pregnancy due to my stillbirth at 36 weeks. Unfortunately it didn't help me as I had a mmc. I was tested after my sleeping angel for clotting issues but all was negative but consultant said she still wanted me on it, she said " next time" I would go on clexane injections. I'm not sure why if I have no clotting issues but I suppose we will do a anything to get our babies. Its worth giving it a go, but consultant didn't give it me until I was 6 weeks pregnant, I do wonder if it is this miracle drug, I never took it in my other pregnancies and went to nearly full term even tho I lost my beautiful girl ( I have a daughter that's 5)

Wishing you lots of look, I would definitely get advice first from doctor before your start taking anything.

Xxxx

Thanks ladies! i actually asked my Dr and liked that she was honest. She told me she didn't believe in it helping but that it def wouldnt do any harm. So I'll give it a go if no harm is to be done...:)

I tried baby asprin after my last IUI. I took one each day because I also heard that it helped with your uterine lining. I checked with my doctor and she informed me that in her opinion it wouldn't make much difference, but it also wouldn't hurt anything. It didn't help us conceive that cycle; however, I plan on trying it again for whatever we choose to do next cycle.
