Anyone use Similac Sensitive

Since my son was born he was drinking mostly breast milk and some formula here and there. Now that he is drinking to much and unable to keep up with just breast milk he is drinking more and more formula ( similac sensitive w/iron )

Lately since he has been drinking more his bowel movements have been a dark green and loose consistency and alot at once haha. Not water but paste.

Is this normal for formula fed babies? for it to be this dark green color? hes 8 weeks old

My DD has dark green poos and has done since the meconium ones. I have no idea whether it's normal for not, I've read so many opinions on the Internet. Some people say it's normal for formula fed babies especially if the formula is enriched with iron. Other theories are gas, lactose intolerance, cows milk intolerance, a virus etc etc.

However, my DD is on the same formula as my DS was and he never had green poos. She has stomach issues though (silent reflux) so has a number of other symptoms.

I would say if your LO is fine in themselves, it's probably ok but it won't hurt to ask your health visitor/doctor.

My dd3 used to get this the dark green poos. Also very loose. Turned out she had bad reflux & cows milk protein allergy. The dietitian put her on simalac allentrum. I think that's how it's spell. It cleared up. The doctor gave her this on prescription. It can also be a sign of too much iron. Good luck 😃
