Anyone using SMA formula

my lo was on cow and gate but has had loose mucus stools for around a week now so doctor has reccomended i change formula so iv just bought sma he told me to try this one, whats the difference between the two?x

I'm not sure what the difference is as I've always used SMA with both my girls, didn't want to read and run, they have both been fine on SMA though, sorry not much useful information

As far as I am aware there isn't a huge difference between the first stage formulas (not including lacto free, hungry milk or prescription) but my lo got constipated alot on SMA so maybe it will help with loose stools.

There's not alot difference but there is a difference I can't remember what exactly. But tbh different formulas suit different babies so that's prob why he told you try it to see if it suits your baby better

I agree with the other ladies.. different formulas suit different babies.. my lo has been fine on sma although i have heard from others their lo's have found it too rich or caused constipation.
