Anyone with 14 week old baby? How u doing??

Hey. Olivia is now 14 weeks & 2 days , just wanted to tell u about her feeding, rountine etc & see how others are doing.


BF for first 2 wks then up to 13 wks she was on Cow n Gate newborn formula, 6oz every 3.5-4 hours. In last week we put her on Cow n Gate hungary baby as advised by HV. She now on 7oz every 4 hours, screams her head off when take bottle away 2 wind her. Still feel like shes hungary after!

Put her to bed at approx 8-9pm & sleeps average of 8 hours. Hear of some babies doing 12 hour stints, cant wait 4 that!!!

Las weigh in she was 12lb 14.5oz...

Jack is exactly the same as Olivia, (he is now 16 weeks tho)
I BF for 2 weeks then started him on 4oz, slowly crept up to 7oz by the time he was 11 weeks. He sleeps for 8 hours too. He is on the hungry baby formula and goes roughly 4 hours during the day, sometimes draining the bottle and other times leaving an ounce or so.
They are all different and 8 hours sleep is fantastic! Some of my friends babies arent even going 4!

Imi's not quite as old as your LOs but thought i would add my bit

She had expressed BM for 6 weeks and then went onto Aptimal (after not even half a tin of SMA. She has gradually got upto 210ml bottles and has 4 of those a day (5 if she's awake long enough!!). She sleeps between 11 and 12 hours a night and has done for almost 2 weeks

Hiya, Poppy may be a little different as she was in hospital with Pyloric Stenosis for 5 weeks from when she was 2 weeks old and had nothing but her drip for 4 weeks but i'll share my experience anyway...

Poppy is now 15wks and 1 day old. She was on C&G newborn till she was 10 weeks old and has been on C&G hungry baby food since then. She has 8oz every 4 hours and as with Olivia she cries when we take away her bottle to wind her! Up until the past week she has a feed around 7.30pm then goes to bed around 8. We wake her for a dream feed at around 11 then she sleeps from 11.30pm ish till around 11.30 the following morning! I'm convinced its because we were unable to pick her up when she was poorly so she got used to settling herself. She never slept less than 11 hours. The past week or so she has woken around 5am for a feed but then gone back down till around 11.30 again. Its amazing i know but i never get anything done! She's the worlds worst alarm clock! xxx

By the way she weighed 11lb 9 oz at 14 wks xx

Adam is similar - he's 14 weeks and 1 day old. I had to introduce formula when he was a week old, as top-ups to bf. Over the weeks the formula amount crept up and now he's offered 210ml bottles 4x a day (he sometimes leaves up to 2oz), plus he is bf in the morning (but he's started to refuse, I think he isn't prepared to put in the effort!). Every couple of days he gets some EBM; I express at night and he gets about half a feed. It's not much but I feel bad that I was unable to bf exclusively and want to give him what I can while I can. But he is 95% ff now.

He's only ever had Aptamil, stage 1, and we've had no issues with it.

His feeds are approx every 3.5-4 hours during the day - at about 9.30am, 12.30pm, 4.30pm and then right before bed, whenever that is, usually between 10 and 11pm. He sleeps about 8 hours at night, sometimes a bit more; I don't actually know for sure what time he's woken as he seems happy to amuse himself in his cot and I might only wake at 8.45am or so, whereas his daddy, who goes out to work at 7.50am, will later tell me he was awake when he left for work. He started sleeping this length of time at around 6-7 weeks, when he dropped his night feeds.

I last had him weighed at 12 weeks 3 days and he was 12lb 10oz. HV is coming over on Tuesday and I hope he'll be at least 13lb 4oz (he tends to gain 12oz or so per fortnight).
